Well, this came out of nowhere! Kojima Productions has just shadow dropped Death Stranding: Director’s Cut onto Xbox platforms – yep, the game is out now on Xbox Series X|S!
To celebrate the game’s first appearance on Xbox consoles, publisher 505 has launched the Director’s Cut with a 50% discount for the next two weeks. You can grab it for £17.49 / $19.99 on Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store.

Back in 2022, the PC version of Death Stranding came to Xbox Game Pass – but at the time, no Xbox console version existed. For now, this new Xbox Series X|S version is not in the Game Pass library, but that generous launch window discount is certainly welcome.
Shortly after that PC Game Pass drop, we talked a little bit about how excited we were for Kojima and Xbox to collaborate with OD in the future. Well, we’re getting a taste of more Kojima on Xbox right now!
